Wow life has been so crazy! So two weeks ago my boyfriend came back from his mission, then my sister graduated the next day causing me to miss class so I'm feeling very fallen behind. I've been trying to work on things at home but my computer is so stubborn! My sister takes up all the memory with her millions of pictures so I can't download any programs. So I finally get her to delete some pictures and my computer charger breaks so it dies. It's been very frustrating but such is life. I feel like this new project will be a lot of fun. I love playing with pictures I just have to find the time in my crazy life to snap some photos to play around with in class. I just hope I have the time to get everything done! Life stresses me out sometimes because it's very busy and usually technology saves my life but all my devices have been acting strange lately so i'm feeling frazzled. I just have to make sure I get them all fixed and work hard!

This week was pretty easy. I understood everything that we were doing and I really liked doing the CultureGrams project. I thought it was fun to do that and learn how to download a sound. I didn't really like the Pioneer project mostly because I don't really use Pioneer and I'm not really of fan of it to be honest. Like it's really cool for kids and it's nice to be able to get articles I need for school off of EBSCO but I just don't think it looks like it's that appealing to kids. Maybe I'm just weird but I would put fun things on the page to make it interesting to kids. It doesn't even look that interesting to me as an adult so yeah. I just like websites that look cool and entertain me I guess. I should give it more of a chance, and I liked the Searchasaurus and the Kids search website I just think they should put that on the front so it's entertaining! :)

UEN K-12 project

Well this week has been pretty fun. I think I learned the UEN all about me page pretty well. It was really simple for me and I had no problem. I am still a litle hesitant about how creative it should be mostly because I'm used to doing things on poster boards and such so it's hard for me to want to be creative on a computer. I did have a little harder time with Wednesday's assignment. I didn't really understand what we were supposed to do at first. I understood the documents and bookmarks, and I did okay once I got started. It was just hard to really understand what I was supposed to do, but I think I got it. It was nice to have an example to look at on your web page so I could follow that if I got confused. Hopefully it turns out how I imagined it. It was a really fun project to create, just a lot of things to remember to put all on one page. Such as the lesson plans, activities, core curriculum. I just got frustrated doing it because my computer was having major issues with the key board so it was hard.

First Day of Computer Class

Well I feel like I did pretty well in our class this week. I understood a lot that we did and it was pretty easy for me to follow along. I have a pretty good background in computers especially since I live in the age of technology. I follow directions pretty well so I feel like I will learn a lot from this class. I will learn a lot of the newer things that I can do with my own class once I start teaching and I might even learn to like blogging. I've never really had a passion for it and like some believed I would never blog. It's not the first time my schooling has proved me wrong. I'm really excited to see what we learn this week and to start on some of the projects!
